What SEO Training method is best ?

Your SEO Training can take many different shapes, from a full blown intensive course to just reading a Search engine optimisation book.

It would be impossible to say which SEO Training method is best you must establish which method is best for you personally and to do this you need to take into account the following:

  • How long have you got ?
  • What is you SEO Training budget ?
  • Do you learn best from practical or theory work ?
  • Do you want to be certificated or just knowledgeable ?

All of the above will have an effect on what SEO Training Method you choose.

For example if you worked at XYZ company and your boss decided that you are going to take on all of the company's SEO and SEM duties and you start in a week, your boss is more that likely going to pay for your SEO Training.

If this is the case then you would probably choose the quickest and most expensive route, the route of the intensive course.

However if you had a passion for the industry and wanted to learn in your spare time you would probably choose the longest and cheapest route the self study and teach yourself route.

It does not matter which route you choose to take one thing remains the same, it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to become good at it.

You will see adverts literally littering the internet claiming that you can become an SEO guru in just 15 minutes by reading a small ebook that will cost you £19.99.

Now do you really think that if you buy and read that book you are going to be an expert in the deadly art of Search Engine Optimisation ?

No of course your not you will undoubtedly pick up a few good tips and tricks but it will definetly leave you feeling ripped off.

The answer is to purely use your common sense if anyone could be an SEO expert in 15 minutes for just £19.99 there would be no need for the profession.
