This is an SEO technique that comes with a bit of a pre-warning. Creating too many pages will clog up your site and could impact focus and visitor satisfaction. So whatever you do, don’t go crazy and build thousands of landing pages, linking to each one within the footer of the page.
Anyway, as you will no doubt be aware, each page on a website should have a primary keyword or phrase. This means that you can target a wider array of rankings across the entire site and hopefully attract more visits as a result. Occasionally a keyword simply won’t convert or you’ll struggle to get a ranking. The issue you then face is whether you change the keyword focus, undoing any good work, or create a new page to target a similar, but different term.

It doesn’t matter how deep they may be in your site, a landing page is an opportunity for you to pursue new keywords and search engine rankings. Whilst you can easily go overboard and have hundreds of pages about, well, not a lot really, if you’re after a new keyword and don’t want to shift the focus of an existing page, a fresh, unique page can provide the answer.
So what might you target? Well, if you’ve got a few categories covering lots of different products, you might want to consider splitting these it into more manageable chunks. By developing related sub-sections you can make it easier for people navigating around your site, uncluttered overpopulated categories and also provide a fresh gateway to your site.

Whether you’re using PPC or SEO, search engine visitors have to find you somehow. Due to the way in which each individual page is capable of earnings its own ranking, there are numerous ways for people to enter your site.
This means that every page is effectively your homepage. It is the first one that a visitor sees and it should be the most relevant to their search query. But what happens when some landing pages are experiencing a high bounce or exit rate? What can you do?
Well, identifying the problem is your first issue. Use your analytics to pinpoint any areas that are potentially weak and that could be deterring visitors from venturing further into your site. If there are some pages with the aforementioned high bounce rate, that is usually a good place to start.
